circle of fatherhood.

In order to graduate from the KU School of Journalism and Mass Communications, you have to take your capstone course called Campaigns. We were given two clients last semester, Dad’s of Douglas County and Communities in Schools. Both were so fun to work on. However, my team and I completely re-branded Dad’s of Douglas County, which I believe will help you see how much I love branding. I helped with the research, and designed all the creative endeavors with the advice of my teammates.

nicole grabner.

I received the most amazing message from Nicole Grabner asking my rates to rebrand her business’ logo, brandbook and website.

This is an honor because I met Nicole when I was just eight years old. She was like another big sister to me and eventually asked me to be her flower girl when she got married.

I feel so blessed to have this lady in my life. I just finished her brandbook and will be starting her website here soon. Thank you, Nicole. You’re so wonderful.

aesthetics by brenda.

My beautiful aunt has this incredible purpose in life to help others feel confident by helping them with skin health – so she got her aesthetician license and started her own business.

After a few years, her logo needed an update and I was determined to create the calming environment she does in logo form.

So, I carefully chose these therapeutic colors because she likes to incorporate in her clothes and in her home, but the colors also identifies in the state she currently resides.

liz rogers photo.

The beautiful and talented Liz Rogers and I have worked together on countless photo projects – so it just made sense to say “heck yes!” when she asked me to design her logo.

I love working with this incredible soul and I am ecstatic to show off what we finish with her entire brand.

I have been absolutely blessed enough that Ocean Park Standoff, a growing band in LA liked my line design enough to put it on their single's (If You Were Mine) album cover. You can check out the cover above.

uh huh, honey.

Meet Honeycomb. The all inclusive wedding magazine for the free-spirited bride.

Sadly, this isn’t really a thing. But, if it was and if I ever find my person, this would be the magazine I would rush to the shelves to buy.

Senior year of college I had to pick a journalism elective in which I selected Magazine Publishing. I had an amazing and beyond creative professor. To top it off, I had a brilliant partner, Olivia who helped put this together. I created the logo, but she sat by me and we worked amazingly together. #teamwork

mind, body and soul.

Meet Mind, Body and Soul – your journey to self-love kickstarter by Drea Torres, Philip Blystone and Sabrina Sheck.

Three individuals came together to help others pursue self-love. Although there isn’t a golden secret to loving yourself, by nurturing your mind, body and soul, you can experience self-growth and get closer to becoming the best version of yourself.

I knew that Philip (a certified personal trainer) and Sabrina (a self-growth book connoisseur and amazing cook) would be the perfect, inspiring individuals to team up with on this endeavor.

And, I was right. They make my heart glow and we cannot wait to show you the final product.

COMING SOON.

marie-claire music.

As a military brat, I moved around a lot. My journey took me to the 757, not once but twice. One day in 2019, I got tagged in a comment from my dear friend, Josh under a tweet from a radiant girl named Marie-Claire from the 757.

She is a music artist and was looking for a designer. I reached out to her and she said she adored my art! This year, I designed this logo for her. We opted out from a normal font and chose her signature instead – making her logo perfectly tailored to her and her vibe.

One my photographer and fashionable friends hired me to create a logo for her photography business. I found inspiration from her camera lens. I also created a watermark for her to brand her photos.

behance.

Adobe has given artists an amazing platform to share their portfolio.

Everything you can see on Behance can be seen on my Instagram accounts and on here with some digging. However, I wanted to consolidate it a little more.

Thank you for believing my art. Thank you for enjoying it.

It means the world to me.

alohakaalasquare.png

aloha ka’ala.

The story of how Ka’ala and I met is one of my favorites because our love of art brought us together.

This woman is an incredible writer/creator. So, when she asked me to design the covers of her guided journals, I was honored.

The flower you see behind her name is a native flower to her hometown in Hawaii. I wanted to make sure the journal, although had other’s words and thoughts, kept a piece of her heart. Thank you Ka’ala. I am filled with gratitude.

the flower house.

The beautiful Ka’ala, who you can get a glimpse into above, has an incredible family – including an awesome husband who is building his own flower shop.

The coolest part is he kind of interviewed me during our first meeting. Although it was a first, I didn’t mind. I appreciated he wanted to get to know the artist before choosing me to help his dream come alive. So him, Ka’ala and I had a great first meeting and together we uncovered his wants and the vibe he wanted for his new chapter.

I cannot wait to see this shop someday, but for now, I am simply honored to be a part of it.
